Disturbing Joan : ウィキペディア英語版 | Disturbing Joan Disturbing Joan was a Saint Lucian band that played reggae, rock and funk. The members were local surfers who emerged from the local bar scene, to open for Malcolm Jamal Warner's band in 2001 at Jazz on the Square. They released their debut, ''Bush Tea'', in 2002 and received the M&C Fine Arts Awards the next year. In 2003, Disturbing Joan opened for Third World and Barrington Levy, and toured in Martinique. Core Band Members included guitarist-songwriter Nicholas Devaux,drummer Alvin 'Fats' Alexander, bassist Chris de Freitas and rhythm guitarist Andre Pancho de Caires. Former band members include keyboardists Shesh Cooper and Arlene Bristol-Devaux. Founding frontman Jonty Davies, parted ways with the group in 2006. When Davies and de Caires voted against playing more hotel gigs on the island, Devaux formed another group called Plan B, made of some members of Joan. Devaux and the remaining members of the band, minus de Caires changed the name of Plan B to Ricochet and later to Skip Monday and now play on the tourism circuit, including hotels and bars. ==References==
